Moodle Upgrade to Version 3.1 in Jul 2017
In order to update the functions and features of the new version of Moodle to meet learning and teaching needs, an upgrade from version 2.7 to 3.1 will be conducted on 22 and 23 Jul 2017 inclusive. During the upgrade, course content will be converted and transferred to the new platform. Moodle version 3.1 is a Long Term Support (LTS) release with more support from Moodle.org in terms of bug fixes. Moving to this LTS release will provide greater stability in the coming few years. The new version is also more friendly to mobile devices. For the new features of Moodle 3.1, please visit https://moodle.eduhk.hk/course/view.php?id=27718. Staff using Moodle to deliver courses might want to know more about the new functions and attend Moodle staff workshops offered by LTTC, if needed.
