1. It seems that the simulated conditions were limited to univariate fixed-effect models. The effect size and CI in more complex models, such as random-effect model or MANOVA, still need to be investigated.
2. Since the ANOVA and more complex models are restricted models of GLM, future studies should focus on a whole model rather than several special cases.
